NAIA Terminal-1 for sale?

So sell the NAIA-1 so that the proceeds will fund a new airport in Pampanga?

The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) is studying the phaseout and sale of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 in order to pay for the cost of the proposed Clark International Airport in Pampanga to meet the country's airport needs and boost the country’s tourism industry.

If you were living from the south of Manila (Batangas-Cavite-Laguna), what would you think of it, I bet you will cringe. Before they go head on, they should properly lay-out the supporting infrastructure for it. Like, superhiways or MRT/Rail system that will connect directly to the airport without going through much hassle.... Uh does this also means that the crocs and voltures from NAIA 1 will also transfer?

Let's say that Diosdado Macapagal Airport in Clark is way better than NAIA terminal I but if I were you Mr. Secretary I will just improve the system inside the Terminal-1 than selling it.

Clark is too far especially for the people that is living in Manila, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna provinces even though there is SCTEX or the Northrail project it will just cost much to those people.

Fire those people in the Terminal-I that is not doing good, improve the system inside. You can also direct some flights in terminal 3. That terminal is way too big and only few flights are going in and out there.

But well, I think expanding the Clark Airport is not actually a bad idea afterall specially if they`re gonna put up a new railway station which will make transportation easier and accessible. Location is good as well, it`s inside the Air Base and sure tourist will be more satisfied and feel safe.

There`s still NAIA 3 so other international flight in Manila won`t be affected, they should focus on how to make NAIA 3 look better and meet the standard of international airport!

Terminal 1 is a big chaos and they should start opening Terminal 3 for more international flights since, for me, it has better potential for it.
