Teenagers in Florida are set to be banned by law from wearing low-slung jeans that reveal their underwear.
The measure prohibits students from wearing clothing that "exposes their undergarments" or "indecently exposes their body parts" while they are at school.
It is aimed at putting an end to the Hip-Hop-influenced trend, favoured especially by young men, in which jeans are worn around the buttocks rather than the waist.
Good, I wish they would ban it over her in England as well and not just for school kids, and also ban builds bum as well, who the hell wants to see someones hairy bum when they bend over, I dont and I bet there are a lot of people like me that think the same way.
I agree that this fashion is ridiculous and not attractive - actually I think it is hilarious to see all this young blokes thinking how trendy and cool they look when instead they look very silly ....
I've seen young lads wandering around the city and in shopping mall showing off his trademark underpants which are a ridiculous and silly fashion statement which is about as bad as the fashions of the 1970s - yuk
I hope that they bring this in in the UK! I get a bit fed up of seeing it. I'm all for exPRESSING yourself, but exPOSING is something a bit different... let's be honest, no-one needs to see that!
Who wants to see some oiks underwear as they walk past your table whilst you're eating?
I can't understand how those rapper delinquents can become heroes to young people today anyway. Rap is cool but I don't have to dress like the boys in the hood.
It's about time some youngesters smartened themselves up a bit.....they turn up for job interviews looking like they have just got out of bed....and then wonder why nobody will give them a job. Yes, be trendy, be modern, but look smart. No shame in it!
