My Thanksgiving Giveaways

Next month is my first year in the UK, September 7 to be exact. I remember how excited I was on my first step in England. I would like to celebrate my thanksgiving through a blog contest despite of the new law of the BIR (well, they are free to come in UK to sue me).

It is time to give thanks and express gratitude of this my special occassion, I’m giving away 1-year Web Hosting and 2 (two) Domain Names. This is my way of expressing my gratitude for all the blessings I’ve received this year including my earnings in my blog.

My summary on blogging

I started out this second personal blog of mine when I moved to London. I founded it in 2010 mainly to stay in touch with my friends and family in Philippines. It makes me smile to read that very first entry as I clearly thought I was very late to the blogging game, when in fact I know so many blogs that have been founded much more recently!

There are so many blogs trying to make money and – let’s be honest – many (not all) of them don’t have any personality. There are blogs that I LOVE but there is also a terrible SAMENESS to many blogs. In the last year or so I have come to the realisation that I don’t really care about making money from my blogging. I just want to have fun. And so, I have made my First Fun Blog contest.

How to Blog?

Lots of my readers and friends ask me how to blog? and why do I blog? Because they think I am just wasting my time and effort in blogging. As I have said I blog because I can and want too, and most importantly because I find it fun. The fun factor is that I am earning in my blog.

I briefly touched on this in my post and have somewhat revised my opinion. Whether its simply because I've had time to change my mind, or because other posts have influenced me I'm not sure, but I've come to the conclusion that it is now time to separate news blog and personal, in a blogging environment at least.

Back to my Field of Dreams

I am not leaving my weblog Abdul Hakeem, this name is very important to me and it reflects my way of life that's why I choose it as my title of my personal blog.

It's just happen that I need to go back to my Field of Dreams which is my very first personal blog. It tells about all his life, Roy was searching for his dreams. Then one day, his dreams came looking for him.

I'm already dreaming of the challenges and fun and now it's time to wake up and face the reality that life's must go on and we need to survived and not just dreaming all the time.

I am not changing any topics in this blog, still this is a little bit about life, career, and just about anything else involved with my recent move to the United Kingdom and how it all translate to me.

Everyone dreams, but not all dreams come to fruition. You cannot sit by and be frustrated by the lack of development of your dreams if you are not taking action to see them come to life.

I don’t always share how I feel with you guys but I wrote this post for anyone who might have had a day like mine. I’m gonna reflect on the journey that I started on and keep going until I finish. Don’t just dare to dream … live to make it real.

Capture a single snowfall

This is a great thing to have because I will be able to send every single photograph  to my family and friends more often this winter, I want to show them how to make a Snowman. It makes me closer to them watching every pictures I've taken.

For me it’s one of LG's best ever handsets, features fun and user-friendly interface.

Make money blogging

Blogging to me is about self-expression that provides more opportunities. It took me a really long time to really get blogging because I always said to myself there's nothing I'll get from blogging, but I was surprise when my sister get paid to blog. Then I start asking how to make blog and make money blogging, so now I intend to make blogging on a regular schedule.

Of course, blogging is a great fun. This is the only visual way I could share my opinion, my interests, likes and activities. Many people dream of getting paid to blog. This is fueled by stories of bloggers earning big bucks. You can earn money by blogging — if you're dedicated.

Consider myself as an example, this can be used as a basic guide to blogging by anybody, your blog can get you the career of your dreams. As you may know, bloggers are earning for their efforts. If you go in to blogging to make money, it's not gonna happen. But if you have a passion and can write, and you are sharing your passion with the world, there is a niche out there that will loyally follow you and buy your writing.
